A Parent

Being a dad to a teenager has made me realise how important it is to invest time in teaching strong communication skills. I always want my daughter to feel confident expressing her thoughts, listening with empathy, and handling difficult conversations with respect and clarity.

These are the tools that will help her build meaningful relationships, navigate challenges, and stand up for herself in the world. My hope is that as she grows, she carries these skills into every part of her life—becoming someone who connects well with others, earns trust, and approaches life with confidence, understanding, and integrity.

I have extensive experience with young people in my personal life, as well as educational and creative settings.

This has given me insight into:

  • The pressures young people face today

  • The importance of building confidence early

  • How to engage and inspire in a way that feels relevant and accessible

I’m passionate about helping young people find their voice and carry that confidence into adulthood.

A Workshop Leader

I’m enthusiastic about communication and assertiveness training, something I’ve dedicated over two decades to developing across a wide range of sectors. Throughout my career, I’ve delivered training on safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, handling difficult conversations, behavioural safety and customer excellence. I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredibly diverse set of clients, including global brands, public sector organisations, and cultural institutions.

I create supportive, engaging environments where people feel safe to:

  • Step outside their comfort zone

  • Try new ways of communicating

  • Build confidence at their own pace

My approach is practical, encouraging, and tailored to each individual or group.

An Actor

My background in acting—spanning soap operas, feature films, and national theatrical tours—has played a huge role in shaping my approach to communication coaching. Performing across such varied platforms taught me how to truly understand an audience, adapt my delivery, and communicate with authenticity, presence, and emotional intelligence.

These skills translate directly into my coaching, where I help others become more self-aware, confident and impactful in how they express themselves. Drawing on my acting experience, I’m able to bring communication to life in a credible and engaging way, helping people not just learn skills, but to practically apply them.
